Downtown Dallas : I was bored one day and it was beautiful outside, both in lighting and weather, so I decided to walk around downtown dallas and photograph the place. At the time, I hadn't explored much of Downtown, so this was my first real experience with it. I mostly stuck to the west side, so next time I'll explore the east side I think. I had a blast, spent 2 or 3 hours walking around photographing stuff. One of my favorite types photographs are displayed here, when I take one looking down the street right when I'm in/around the middle. For whatever reason, I find them very compelling (Maybe it's because it "feels" dangerous?

Mom : This is my favorite series that I've done so far. I did it for a class assignment where we were to document "something". For that something, I chose my mom. Your Bio

I first started to take pictures, seriously, in High School. I was invited to join the Yearbook team and we studied a little bit of photography. I fell in love with it, but I never really got into it until digital cameras became the norm. I went from a Canon P&S to a Pentax K200 to my current love, my Pentax K7 (+35mm & 15mm LtD).

I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with an Arts and Technology Bachelors. I initially went there for video game design, but ended up studying Photography, Graphic and Web Design as I enjoyed those subjects more. It's lead into a fun and interesting career for me so far, so glad I went that route!

Now I've managed to relocate to San Francisco, CA and have been in love with this city ever since. The opportunities and inspiration for photography and design are endless and the weather is perfect. I know its expensive just to survive out here, but it's so worth it.
